Dynasol Group announces surcharges for synthetic rubber and chemicals produced in Europe

Energy prices and CO2 certificates have significantly increased throughout the year and continue to do so reaching levels we can no longer absorb alone. Due to these exceptional circumstances, we are left with no option but to implement a surcharge of 300€/MT on all synthetic rubber and rubber chemicals produced in Europe.

Madrid, October 19, 2021. Energy prices and CO2 certificates have significantly increased throughout the year and continue to do so reaching levels we can no longer absorb alone. Due to these exceptional circumstances, we are left with no option but to implement a surcharge of 300/MT on all synthetic rubber and rubber chemicals produced in Europe.

Natural gas and electricity prices have risen to record levels driven by the combination of strong demand across all regions and structural changes in European energy sources. Energy prices are expected to continue rising for the foreseeable future.

The surcharge mentioned above will be effective on November 1st, 2021.
