Dynasol is pleased to announce a capacity expansion at its Gajano facility in Santander, Spain, focused on the production of solution styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR).

Through this investment, Dynasol has increased its SSBR production capacity by 20 kilotonnes per annum (KTPA), reinforcing its commitment to meeting growing market demand. The new production line was officially inaugurated during a visit by the President of Cantabria, María José Sáenz de Buruaga.

This expansion is part of a broader program initially announced in 2022, which also included a 10 KTPA increase in styrene-butadiene copolymer (SBC) capacity at the Altamira, Tamaulipas facility in Mexico.

Dynasol’s SSBR and SBC technologies are supported by extensive operational expertise and are designed to serve a wide range of applications, including plastic modification, adhesives, asphalt modification, and industrial goods.

Demand for these products continues to grow across key segments such as electric vehicles, electronics, adhesives for fast-moving consumer goods, asphalt solutions, and compounding applications.

With these expansions, Dynasol strengthens its ability to serve customers across multiple regions, including the Americas and Europe, ensuring reliable supply and continued support for evolving market needs.
